Everything about Bali was nothing short of incredible, but our stay at Four Seasons Bali at Sayan took it to a completely different level. Tucked back into the lush jungles of Bali, Four Seasons offers private villas with BREATHTAKING views and memories that will last a lifetime.
Upon arriving at Four Seasons Bali at Sayan, we were greeted by the sweet staff with flowers congratulating us on getting married. They then immediately took our luggage to be transferred to our villa. We walked across this long bridge (that is literally on top of a jungle) into the resort. We then were taken by a buggy to our villa. I almost felt like my eyes couldn’t really be seeing a place with this much beauty. It was like I stepped into a story book and was in this magical place that was too good to be true.
Our villa was directly next to the Ayung River where we had a private view of the jungle and flowing water. I think Charles and I were both in shock when we walked in. They had the room decorated with flowers on the bed that said “Happy Honeymoon”, a yummy cake, ginger aide (look it up… it’s so good), and a flower bath.
The villa had two levels. On the top of the villa was a little sitting area that overlooked the river, and also a pond… yes… a pond on TOP of the villa! Downstairs was the room, the balcony, and the plunge pool. In front of the bed were these huge sliding doors that, when opened, offered an incredible view right from bed.
One of my favorite parts of the villa was the bath. Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE my baths. And this bath was unlike any bath I have ever taken haha! It was also placed right in front of a window that overlooked the river. I don’t think I have ever been as content as I was while sitting in a flower bath looking out at such a beautiful view.
Up at the resort there were restaurants, a gym, a spa, yoga, and another plunge pool/jacuzzi. They also offered activities through the resort. Charles and I took a bike ride with a guide through Ubud, which was a lot of fun. Yoga in the morning overlooking the rice fields was also an AMAZING way to start our day. (Shout out to my amazing husband for tackling yoga for the FIRST TIME!!!).
Backing up, after we checked in we went to town for a little bit. When we got back to our room the bell rang almost immediately and they brought us macaroons that were SOOO GOOD.
To say we were treated like royalty at Four Seasons Bali would be an understatement. The staff, the room, the activities, and everything in between gave us the best experience. We are so grateful we were able to take the trip of a lifetime celebrating the start of our marriage. We are so excited for our next adventure and can’t wait to share with you.
Thank you SO MUCH to Four Seasons for offering us this AMAZING accommodation!
